A couple of weeks ago I wrote a post about how the skin creation at Birth has picked up again, after they had been concentrating on some other things. Of course I’m not saying that my positive take on this development has in any way spurred them on to release yet another skin for the Lelutke EvoX mesh heads, but that is exactly what they did.
The Birth Beck skin comes with options for the eyebrows (browless, black, brown, blonde and red) and is available in 6 skin tones. Take a look at Birth’s poster to see what the Beck skin looks like on the Lelutka Eon mesh head when you use the shape that comes with the skin.
Constantly putting together new looks for my avatar is my raison d’être in Second Life™ (that’s posh, i.e. French, for “reason for being”), so naturally I wasn’t going to be content to simply blog the look Birth is suggesting, however charming it may be. I am using the Lelutka Noa mesh head and created a new shape for it.
While the Beck skin comes as a clean-shaven version only, the Lelutka mesh head comes with some nice facial hair options. Usually I go for a stubble or a full beard, but I was rather charmed by this moustache and soul patch. This look is giving me Errol Flynn vibes. It’s a modular facial hair option, consisting of four layers, so you could simply leave it at the light base stubble if you want.
Meanwhile, in real life, I’m escaping to fantasy to. More specifically to Outlander. I put that series on the backburner for a while, but picked it up again recently and now I’m working my way through at steady pace of at least two episodes a day and a couple more for good measure on weekends. We’ll se what weather this weekend will bring before I start committing to a Netflix goal.
