While I occasionally run out of inspiration in Second Life™, the recent surge in new skin creations by Birth for the Lelutka EvoX mesh heads, has my creative juices flowing again. Their latest creation is gorgeous black beauty named Sol. Birth shows this skin on the Lelutka Ford mesh head and when you purchase the Sol skin, a shape for that particular mesh head is included . I always like to against the grain just a little bit, so I’m using Birth’s Sol skin on the Lelutka Luka head and I have created my own shape for it.
The Lelutka Luka head has been around a bit longer than the Ford head, but it has been fully updated and can be used with Evo or EvoX skins. I have used this head before to create black avatars and it’s always fascinating to see how another skin and (a lot of) tweaking of the shape can create yet another person. This time I also experimented with heterochromia, which is the fancy term for having two different eye colours. I’m not sure if this an option with every eye applier you can get for the mesh eyes that come with the Lelutka EvoX mesh heads, but the Avi-Glam applier I’m using here, simply asks you whether you want to apply the texture to the left eye, right eye or both eyes.
I don’t adjust the body for every shape I create, but with the most recent shape I created before this one (Bart) I went purposefully more lean. This time, as I’m using Meshbody’s Athletic body, I went the other way and bulked out the shape more than I usually do, to make the most of those muscles. Well, maybe not absolutely the most. I’m sure you can make it much bulkier, but I still kept it just a little bit modest. He goes to the gym a lot, but he doesn’t quite live there yet. He does seem to be spending a lot of time on perfecting those glutes. Staring? Who? Me? At what?
