My Bitter Sweet Valentine

Here we are again, on the “most romantic day of the year”. Personally I couldn’t care less. Or maybe could, cause otherwise I suppose I would be creating a blogpost on the subject. Don’t be fooled though, I’m merely grabbing as a content piece. I don’t have any romance in my life at the moment and I can’t say that Valentines day makes me long for it. As I understand the myth of Saint Valentine, without looking it all up again, he cut his cape in two to share with a poor person. So surely, this day should be all about charity instead of chocolates in heart shaped boxes, roses and corny teddy bears. Oh well, it is what it is hey? I don’t begrudge anyone’s bit of artificial romance and I kinda like chocolates… and roses… and corny teddy bears. As a matter of fact, I just opened my apartment door moments ago and found a box of chocolates at my doorstep. Oh, I have a secret admire who knows the way to my heart! Free food! Coincidentally, that’s probably also the way to my heart attack.
