In previous years I would have published a bunch of posts focusing on Christmas in Second Life™, this year, if I would have found the energy somewhere, I would have been more likely have been bitching about the ridiculous pressure I’ve been putting on myself this past year with my attempt to make up for the the couple of months I had to take off from work at the start of the year because I broke my shoulder. I’m not one for New Year’s resolutions, but I do vow never to step on the white stripes of zebra crossings on wet and/or icy days ever again. While I’m at it, maybe I should make a promisse to myself to find a better work-life balance. I should take a cours on that… Oy vey, that sounds like a lot of work.
So, no real Christmas post yet, although I am wearing Noche’s reindeer, looking like a slutty little ho ho ho. I’m here to show you the latest face I’ve put on. It’s Birth’s Sterling skin, which they created a couple of months ago. I’m trying him out on the Lelutka Quinn head with a new shape I created for this look. My aim is always to create something different than what’s shown on the poster for a skin. Obviously if you want to look like the poster, you need to use the suggested head and the shape that’s included with the skin. Elementary dear Watson (fun fact, Sherlock actually never says it in the books)
It’s the first time I’m using a Birth skin for a Lelutka mesh head in combination with a body skin from Velour. I don’t know why and when Birth started creating their mesh head skins to match Velour’s body skins, but the great thing about Velour skins is that they come with different variants like Slim, Fit and Daddy. OK, so I stuck with Fit, but one day I will be a daddy! Oh look, another New Year’s resolution!
