A Gianni Day

My previous post was about updating one of my shapes with a new skin suggestion, after the creator of the skin that I previously used for that shape had closed their store in Second Life™. I paused for a second as I updated the version of that shape with the Signature Gianni body, realising that I haven’t done anything with this body for a while. Signature launched a new male body (Davis) some time last year – Was it last year? I’m terrible at keeping track of time – and a range of new mesh heads. The Gianni head as well as the Geralt head and body have been removed from the range, but the Gianni body is still available and gets updates when needed. Some clothing designers have stopped rigging for the Gianni body, but I took a look at the current round of TMD (runs until July 31).

I picked up a pair of shorts that have been seductively pulled down and a t-shirt that’s nonchalantly draped over the shoulder for that hot summer’s day look. Just imagine yourself in any situation that’s hot enough to take off your shirt. As I knew was going to be mostly shirtless with this look, I thought it was a good opportunity to get a new tattoo.

For my final look, I thought you can’t go wrong with a pair of distressed jeans and a short sleeved shirt, worn either with or without a t-shirt.

The conclusion is that there still are plenty of options out their for Gianni, both new and classic but still serviceable. I think it might be slim pickings when it comes to underwear and swimwear though. Noche dropped the Gianni body some years ago an other men’s “lingerie” designers followed suit. Maybe I’ll investigated that on another Gianni day.
