In real life I have a bit of a socks thing. I’m not talking about a kink, though there would be nothing wrong with it if I did. It’s far from an addiction or a wild collection, but I do like a colourful pair of socks and the nice thing is that it’s never hard to find a pair that fits. To quote Toni Collette’s character from In Her Shoes: “I get something out of them! When I feel bad I like to treat myself. Clothes never look any good… food just makes me fatter… shoes always fit.” Like that, but then with socks. And as I don’t wear shoes at the office (it’s a Scandinavian thing) I get to see my little bursts of colour all day long whenever I look down at my ginormous feet on my way to the get yet another coffee.
I was happy to see that Noche created a new pair of socks about a month ago. The fatpack contains a mix of warm colours and some soft pastels and you can even use different textures for the left and right sock, for those of you who like to celebrate Odd Socks Days. Meanwhile it turned into another excuse to wear just socks and pants in Second Life™ on this Monday evening. Oh well… que sera se-sock.
